I nee some help on this as I don’t know if I’m wrong or right?
I have a 2020 3500 diesel 6.7L dually, I took it to dealership 3 times for noise in the front end. 1st time they said they tightened a few things but no issues. 2nd time they said oh it’s bushings so replaced them under warranty. 4 wks later I bring it in again th noise is still ther but worse and constant. They say absolutely noting wrong, I take it home. Now I’m mad so I drop it off again and said you have two wks there is something wrong and now the steering is wobbly. They text me a week later. Drag link needs to be replaced, brakes and now new rotors.
Now remember I have been driving on all of this for over two mos even hauled. Aren’t the drag links cause by worn bushings? And don’t you think I could have only had brakes needed not rotors if they did their job the first time?
I’m trying to figure out how to approach this. I know the brakes are my issue but these things should have been fixed the first time. Opinions would be greatly appreciated

Aren’t the drag links cause by worn bushings?

Bushings and drag link are completely different things. I wouldn't expect a drag link to make a noise but it would make sense with wobbly steering. "Bushings" could make a noise but there are a bunch of different bushings, control arms, track bar, shocks, etc. so I can't really elaborate without knowing what they replaced.

I could have only had brakes needed not rotors if they did their job the first time?

What about rotors the first time? What are you asking?

The first time I brought it in for the noise in the front end ( or any of the other time previously) if they had actually checked the brakes then it wouldn’t have had time to wear them down to the point of needing rotors

Unless you were hearing a grinding noise when you took it in, odds are it doesn't need rotors and they just said it did to upsell and add $$ onto the brake job.

If you hate working with them that much then learn to diagnose yourself, and if you don't want to do that then your just going to have to deal with being at their mercy. I do all of my repairs on my own for a reason.

Look for and try a different dealer if you have to go that route, an independent shop can be as capable if not more than a dealer.
Search family and friends, coworkers for recommendations.
Lots of dealers have trouble with being completely honest, or somewhat honest.

Sounds to me like they are just throwing parts at it, I'd find another dealer.

We can definitely understand the frustration that comes with repeated trips to the dealer. If you need additional support for your upcoming appointment, please reach out to us. Our team would like to see how we can get this resolved for you for good.

My 2016 has 130k miles and is still in the original brakes. Pads and rotors. Unless the rotors are warped bad or got scraped up bad from worn pads, they should be fine.

if your towing you should be using the exhaust brake . trailer brakes should also be functioning properly. theres no good excuse for warped rotors
