I am not a very knowledgeable person when it comes to vehicle mechanics so I wanted to check and see if I can get some info on my 5.7 Hemi and what to do about an issue I'm having.

1. My truck has a strong ticking sound when first started. It's lasts a little while and then seems to go away. I have heard this is most likely the exhaust manifold gone bad. I am looking for the best options for fixing that if it is in fact the problem but want to know the best quality replacement as well as the most reasonable budget option as well.

2. I have also noticed that from time to time when I am on a decline and hit the brakes I can feel a slight bump in the brake pedal. What could this be?

As for manifolds we offer and recommend either the BD Diesel manifolds which wont offer an increase in performance but are a great option that will NOT warp/crack.

OR

The AFE shorty headers that will add some extra hp and tq while also being a great option that will NOT warp/crack.

Then of course there is long tube headers, we recommend Stainless Works. These will be your best increase in bolt on power and also will NOT warp/crack.
