No I'm not sure. How do I tell? However, when I go to the apps menu, there are no apps shown at all.
Can you post a picture of what you are referring to? In addition, hold the defrost button, temperature up arrow and temperature down arrow until the dealership mode menu appears and post a picture of that too.

This is the apps page I was talking about. There is nothing there. When I was test driving the truck, it had several apps on this page. I see in the forum that I'm supposed to be able to go to the app store and download apps. Nowhere on the UConnect do I find the App Store.

I was looking for that first screen just before this one. There should be a section for "Navigation" on that dealer mode screen if your radio has Nav with a map database version in it. I see what you mean about the apps, that should be populated with at least 2 pages and not blank (we'll get to that after confirming NAV).

The photo of the 4 options is like the intro page then I select the Radio Part Information. The next photo is the second page to the Radio Part info.

They may have replaced it with a non-NAV UAS radio from the screens. I'd need to see the part number on the back or any paperwork they may have provided you to confirm. I would confirm that before proceeding with any fix...if you paid for a truck with NAV they should provide a truck with NAV.

If this is in fact a NAV radio the lack of all Apps may be the reason the NAV info is also missing, but I'd confirm the part number on the back first.

Does this help?

How do I find out if my truck had NAV? I didn't have it long enough to find out for sure before they replace the radio. The initial screen was delaminating, and they said they'd replace it as part of the purchase. It only took 3 trips before I fonaly got a new radio, but they said it was remanufactured. I thought remanufactured "stuff" had to have a label stating it was "remanufactured"? Do you know anything about that?

Yep, looks like they gave you a non-NAV radio (UAS). You can use this site to enter your VIN and see the trucks original equipment listing.

Do you have AlfaOBD?

For the nav, I guess I can just use the Google from my phone. As for getting the shopping apps link, how do I restore that?
True and quite honestly the CarPlay and AA connectivity with Navigation is much better than OEM. I rarely use factory NAV. As for the apps, first I would try removing the in-line fuse in the engine bay for the radio (fuse holder is near the battery just in front of the brake booster. After letting it sit for about 5 minutes plug the fuse back in and turn the truck on. See if there is any text on the bottom of the screen about installing applications (like performance/offroad pages). THen just let it sit for a while and go through several normal power cycles to see if everything shows back up.

If you still have the problem the next step would be re-installing the firmware. Since you are already on the latest v40.1 you'll need to first flash back to an older version (like v39.6).

I've already tried pulling the fuse. I'll give it a few more days and repost.

How would I flash back to a previous version?

If you've already done the fuse there is no use in waiting. PM me your gmail address and I can provide the correct files for you.
