Hey all,
I recently bought a 2018 Ram 1500 Express RCSB that did not have a rear sway bar. I want to add one, but besides the sway bar and end links, where would I be able to source the hardware needed for this? Does anyone know of any part numbers? I'm just wondering about bolts for the sway bar end links, any bracketry for the end links to the frame, etc. If this has already been posted, can you please direct me to the thread lol. I did check, but didn't find any threads asking this.
Thank you!

Hopefully someone here who has a RCSB Express, can look at the part number tag on their rear stabilizer bar and provide it. Then you can be sure you're getting the right one you need. Verify it's the same pkg by making sure your front stabilizer bar part number also matches theirs. You might even check spring part numbers too. All that stuff is kind of 'matched' for best handling. You might go to the Mopar online store, type in your truck's VIN, and hit enter. Then type in Stabilizer bar. Maybe one will come up and that'll be real easy.

If you go to THIS general link for a 2018 1500, for example, and click on one of the 'stabilizer bars', there'll be a drawing showing the other parts needed. Keep going through the pages and you should also see the brackets, etc. You kind of want to know the handling package description that would be for your truck (check back of 2018 sales brochure - google it).

Once you have the part number, you could buy the new one from Mopart or go to a salvage yard and look for one with the same number. Make sure to get any 'alternate' ...or previous part numbers if the anti-sway has been revised (they usually Alt part numbers on the mopar site...or like ebay etc). You can probably go back several yrs and they'd be the same. And get the brackets too.

Best option is to hit up a wrecking yard and get everything off a wrecked truck as far as brackets/endlinks and bar itself goes. With some modding, you can even make the heavy duty bar off a 2500 work on your 1500.but you'll need to make an adapter plate for each side that bolts to the diff mounts and relocates the mounts for the 2500's bar.Easy to do if you got a grinder with a cut off disc and a tap and die set

One could also induce a lot of oversteer if the rear anti-sway is too stiff. But yeah, a guy could play around to get the balance what he was looking for. Then yer getting into the 'art' of handling, which is kind of fun..

Keep in mind that there are two different rear sway bars, smaller diameter for the 17" wheels and the larger diameter for 20"/22" wheels. I learned this when I bought the sway bar/parts for my 2009 rcsb.

I had bought the larger sway bar and the smaller support brackets, I didn't know that there were two different sized sway bars and had to buy the larger brackets.

I got smart and used a vin on a 2009 extended cab on the car lot with the sway bar and ordered the rest of the parts needed to finish the add on.

At the time I added the rear sway bar to my truck(2009)there wasn't any at the salvage yard, so I paid a lot of $$$.

Get the Hellwig kit, it comes with everything you need. Or if you do go with the stock sway bar, I still have the stock brackets and hardware from when I swapped mine out, I can ship them to you for cheap

I've got a complete rear sway bar and brackets hanging in my garage at my mothers house that I'll give you if you pay for shipping. I'm unclear about what that might cost. All you should need is bolts which could be sourced locally or via the internet.

This came off a 2024 Warlock. Took it off at 700 miles. Replaced it with a road master rear bar built for a 2500.

Bar is in Nashville TN.

Thanks everyone! I'm planning to do the Hellwig sway bar, and I just found the end links and hardware needed through a dealer I can get dealer pricing on.
68041718AD for the sway bar end links and 6502467 for the bolts needed. Eventually I plan to lower it and mod it but this truck feels too 'floaty' in the back end. I've been driving performance cars for too long lol.

Hellwig has 2 kits, 1 includes adjustable end links and the other has no end links. I’d get the Hellwig end links over the stock ones any day, way beefier and you won’t need to buy new ones when you lower it.

The “floaty” thing sounds like you might need new rear control arms, super common.
