Ordered the remote start kit 82115050 and changed out hood latch and attached ground wire and after running the wire to the BCM C1 connector there was a wire already in pin 11 of the connector so I did as the instructions state and removed it from the connector and taped it back and inserted the new wire into the connector. But after putting the connector back into the BCM I went to lock the truck as I was going to be taking to dealership to activate the remote start and new keys that came with the kit and noticed the horn didn’t honk when I hit the remote. So I pressed the horn on the steering wheel and it to did not function. I went back and checked to make sure I put in proper pin and it was definitely in 11 so checked the horn fuse but it was fine. So changed it back to original wire and horn now works again. Is there a different pin I should be putting the hood latch wire in on a 2018?
