My 2019 Laramie Ram 1 year anniversary is coming up in 2 weeks. Over 7k miles and driven back and forth to Florida with no issues, just the three recalls. The SiriusXM trial was due to expire and I kept getting notices to renew, but I ignored them until a week ago when they offered me one year for $4.99 a month. Only catch is you have to put your card on file and it goes up to $27.00 a month the following year. Naturally I'll pull my card the month it expires and see if I can get a deal again. Won't spend $27 a month for it. Also, just recently I get SiriusXM Guardian will expire. No way am I paying $12.99 a month for that. Waiting to see if they offer a cheaper rate. On extended warranty, anyone know who's offering the best rate? I know Zeigler was offering 8 x 125k for $2105 and Chrysler Direct for the same was $2505.

Sirius will hound you to death.

I never caved. I just told them when they called that I was not interested in renewing. After they stopped calling I did receive lots of junk mail from them for almost 2 years. It worked well for starting fires in my outdoor fire pit.

same for me. a year old in september. I use my ram for trips and towing our travel trailer and the usual run to lowes or hdepot. waited out sirrius till I got a real cheap renewal otherwise not something I have a great need for. I wont pay much for that kind of stuff and didnt renew the guardian or u-connect. truck has been great so far. I have 1 outstanding recall to take care of...the seatbelt one but waiting till I need another free oil change so dont have to make 2 trips. I have got as high as 21.5 mpg on 87 gas and the truck does a good job of towing our trailer. everyone that rides in it gives it high marks for looks and comfort so I'm glad I made the deal. it handles better and is more fun to drive than the '17 sierra 4x4 slt I traded in.

I also wait until Sirius will sell for 5 bucks a month but if you set up your account online after the sale you login and delete your card. This is what one of their reps told me to do and it prevents them from placing the higher charges when your agreement ends.

Signed up for the Chrysler Direct Extended Warranty. 8 years/ 85,000 miles was $1,905 with $100 off, it came to $1,805 with the $100 deductible. Like all insurance policies, its their if you need it otherwise, oh well. Oh, I keep my vehicles in good shape and keep them 15+ years. Traded in my 2006 1500 Laramie after 13 years on my 2019 and it was in great shape except for the famous rust starting in the rear wheel well. 2019 RAM 1500 Laramie.jpg

I got as high as 23.1, also on 87 octane on the more flat interstates in Georgia and Florida. Back up north, I get between 15.4 and 16.5 mpg combo city and highway. Just love this truck.

funny, I seem to always get better in the higher elevations and hilly/mountain roads. we recently did 3400 mile trip from ft. worth to Durango-Moab-Jackson Hole-Yellowstone-Sheridan, wy and home and I got 21.5 thru the mountains but only got 19-20 as I got closer to home..usually set cruise on 78..so am not unhappy with those numbers..
