Learning Whipple discontinued the 2.9 kit was big disappointment. After calls later with a few distributors, it seems the 3.0 Whipple kit will fit the 2015 throttle body ok and the system only needs a small amount to retrofit.

Only a few modifications are needed. Brackets for the blower and intercooler rail and some piping.

has anyone here done this? Or know someone this has put the 3.0 etorque for 2019 ram classic 5.7 Whipple on a gen IV?

I drive 2015.

I’m torn. So close to ordering this and just working on making it happen correctly. My installer said it’ll work out, but I’d like to get some feedback from here what y’all think

Go onto the hi-po car pages on facebook and ask about Whipples reputation these days, you might consider a ProCharger instead. The Procharger blower is also easier on the engines bottem end and all the driveline components behind the engine, like the transmission. Even Edelbrocks blower has a better rep then the whipple blower these days.
Have you even looked at Edelbrocks Hemi truck blower kit. Where you go with your truck i personally think you'd be better off 6.4 swapping it then boosting a stock bottem end 5.7,all it takes is 1 bad tank of fuel to break a boosted 5.7 piston
