Hey all - new Ram owner, 2020 3500 mega Limited with the rear air level. Wondering if I can fit 35s stock with no running without having to level...anyone set up a 5th gen dually with 35s and stock suspension? If I HAD to level, what’s the best setup there? I love the ride quality as is, but just can’t live with these little stock tires! Appreciate any feedback!

I think to get a tire that is close to a 35inch tall tire with a dually, I believe you would have to go to a 19.5inch rim.

There is a 265/70R19.5 that is a bit over 34inches tall, and they make a 285/70R19.5 that is over 35inches tall. There are 8R19.5 tires that I think are 35inch tires too.

You are moving up to commercial grade tires.

I think the Cumminsforum has a lot of info on this as well. It looks like 255 80 R 17s will work but it will be a 33inch tire. I thin that requires a level too

To fit 35s you will need to level the truck and buy 2in wheel spacers for in between the rear dually wheels, Bora sells good wheel spacers.

Probably have an issue with running a tire that wide on a factory rim though. He'd have to get something wider.

Nice looking truck. As stated above, a 2" spacer (BORA makes some great ones) will be needed for 35s (or different wheels altogether). I am toying around with throwing on some 255/80/17R Nitto Ridge Grapplers or Cooper STT Maxx. on these stock wheels. Even there, I am thinking of a 1/4" spacer. Essentially a 33" tire, it doesn't require a level either.

Bought this beast a couple weeks ago.

Nice... My buddy has the same truck. He comes over one night, and tells me he's annoyed because he just realized that he can't go through normal car washes. :boxed:
