That's our opinion as well. We had a lot of discussion in the other Tremor thread

It's pretty much just an offroad package on a truck with a towing and hauling suspension. PW is more offroad specific suspension and traction wise.

Hard to beat a P.W.
They are the Rubicon edition of the HD pickup world.
If I had any need for a 3/4 ton I'd have gotten one in a second.
I still wonder if I shouldn't have anyway, though my Laramie is the best truck I've ever had by a pretty fair margin...

The power wagon is definitely the more off road capable truck, but 35" tires from the factory is pretty sweet.

Well to be honest it’s more a half ton with bigger better solid axles. The 2500’s are awesome because of solid axles. I dont even need a 2500 anymore but because of the suspension it’s what I’ll always go with for off-road

Going from a Raptor to a f250 I was missing something from each so I went with the PW but I would have definitely tried the Tremor if it came with the 6.7 Diesel.
I know it is not as serious in the off road department, but it might have been just capable enough for me to give a shot...
I love competition and to see a variety of vehicles out on the trails.

I have no regrets with my new PW purchase, but I do hope to see one of these in Moab (in action) when I go in March.

One thing Ford has on there trucks in approach and departure angle readings on the main screen I could not see that we have that option or I did not know how to access it. If the PW does not have it it would be nice to get that added in 2020

Haha. Well let me get at least 10k on my truck before I consider your method. As that was my method in my Jeep with 90k mi and that I only paid 12,500 for.
Also the PW is going to get a few more skids underneath before I go to Moab. At one point I felt like I was going to rollover if I maintain the angle but I had no reference or you there to stand on the corner of my rear bummer for me.
