Hey All

I had a 19 Limited with 22 inch wheels and continental terrain contact tires, my new 20 limited has 22 inch wheels and the **** Goodyear eagle touring tires.

I loved the way my 19 rode, but the 20 rides worse than a 2500. It’s very “sharp” over bumps, potholes, road creases. Almost like the air suspension is inflated to the max.

Dealer says its checks out normal of course.

Could the tires make that much of a difference where I could love my 19 and now want to trade in the 20 w 4K miles!!!???

THx!

Was your 2019 a 5.7 etorque also? Same bed length and with or without rambox Just trying to get what else might different in your set up from year to year. If identical, first thing I would do is go to a dealer and find another 2020 set up just like yours and take it out for a long test drive and see if ride is similar. Hopefully you get some help here but at the end your experience will be different than others so responses may not provide all the help you need. Good luck, hope you get it resolved quickly.

My suggestion would be see if you can get a test drive in another 2020 on the same roads and compare.

2019 2500 tradesman with air.

Rides like the tank I knew I was purchasing. Coming from another 3/4 I didn't think anything of it. 10k latched to the gooseneck makes her ride nice.

But every 1500 I've ridden in was a lot more Cadillac like.

By far no expert but I can't believe the wheels and tires change the ride that much. Curious on how the specs directly match to your 19.

Other than the color it’s an identical truck besides the tires.

My 2020 3500 Laramie 6.7 HO 8' bed rides great for a 3500. Better than I expected.

My '21 Limited with stock 22's is the best riding vehicle I have ever been in. Dude, you MUST have something goin on there. I agree with Farmer Fran, you need to take another similar configured truck out for a ride and compare.

Took out a twin to my truck. Ride same road back to back w my salesman. He agreed it’s harsher. The rear end hops over bumps on my truck and in the new one the shocks absorb the jolt. Taking it in again next week

Sorry, not intending to bash you...but didn't you take the truck for a test drive? I know it's not always possible to do that, especially now with home delivery an option. Just trying to understand how this happened.

It’s the exact same truck as my 19 was...I drove it home but never noticed the ride up until about 3 months ago.
