2020 Ram 1500 tailgate stuck

My tailgate is stuck, wondering if anyone has had the issue with I have removed the access panel and there is no manual latch to release the right side of the tailgate. The little plastic lever is not there. Is there a work around? I have tried screw driver, I’ve tried taking the left side lever out and putting on the right side but it won’t work either. Please help. Dealership can’t fit me in for another three weeks. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
