Bought the truck in March. Didn't come with foglights. I decided I wanted some. Called the dealer, they ordered the kit that's listed for my truck, using the vin I assume. (led lights, factory switch and wiring)
Brought the truck in, they called later to say the lights fit perfectly but they can't wire them because the wiring doesn't fit. Apparently they have to come from factory is what Mopar told them.
A lady I know that works there said she spoke to their "main mechanic" and he says he can do it. So I'm dropping off the truck again next week.
Anybody else experience this? Being told factory switch can not be installed?
I'm guessing it's just connectors that are different and can most likely be spliced.
