Please forgive if I’m skipping over some formalities, but ran into an issue that I’m needing some insight on and just made this account and all.
I got myself a 2021 Ram 3500 HO with DRW. I got it brand new, and is now just short of 120k miles that I’ve put on it. This is the second time it’s happened, but if I’ve been running nonstop with how hot it’s been, it seems like the fan from the engine kicks on REALLY loud. I noticed it’ll start roaring even as I down shift. Seems like at the higher RPM’s is when it’s the worse, regardless of what gear. Also, this is my first Diesel Truck, kept up with almost all of the maintenance to a T and so on. Appreciate any insight or advice I can get.

Thanks y’all!

Alright, Thank You man!
First Summer with it that I’m haulin Hard with it, and it wasnt something i was familiar with.
Also wanted to ask, what is the upper temperature limit I should be watching for as far as the oil and coolant? Almost ran my oil up to 240° and backed off since I haven’t ever seen it that high

Pretty typical. They have inline heat valves that don't open till 180deg and restricts flow. 240 is normal under heavy towing some don't like it some say its designed to do it.

Yes sir! Miles I put on myself, Runnin’ like Hell on Wheels.
It’s my Work Truck, and I use it primarily for DoT stuff for the most part.
60k miles for a 2016? Almost better off that way, my rig is beyond the point of No Return as far as vehicle valuations go ahaha.

Yeah when the one on the semi I drive kicks in, it sounds like a jet plane taking off. Perfectly normal though... it is doing it's job. The one on this semi usually kicks in around 210-220* then knocks it down to under 200 rather quick.
