While driving at 30-35 mph and gradually slowing my truck suddenly shut down. Vehicle came to stop, auto park engaged. A beeping noise came from something. Hit the start button and vehicle restarted. 35 degrees out and windy today . No snow or rain at that time. Vehicle had only been running less that 10 minutes and drove 1/2 mile or less prior to this. After restart vehicle drive home another
Like with no issues. Took it to dealer 20 minutes away. High speed and low. No codes (2 checks by techs on readers).

Dangerous issue because truck slowed quickly on shutdown in the roadway.

No duplicate issue, dealer said I could leave it for them to try to duplicate bit not able to do that now. And no “loaners” available now.

There have been a few of these recently. Feel free to search the forum for other threads on this. I've even seen a couple videos of it happening. Seems to primarily affect 2021 etorque models, although it's too soon to tell about the 2022 models. And it's suspected it has to do with the stop/start system. It seems to only happen occasionally, so it's very difficult to diagnose. I haven't seen that there's any kind of fix yet. I imagine it will become a recall, especially if anyone is injured or killed because of it shutting down at speed. Hopefully that doesn't happen. But for now we're kind of on our own unfortunately, unless someone is willing to leave their truck at the dealership for long term while they diagnose the problem.

I have the same trouble with my 2021 5.7 Hemi 4X4 w/etorque. I did finally leave mine with dealership for almost two weeks(when they finally had a loaner for me) and they drove it around on 10 different attempts to make it happen again. Not once did it fail for them so I got it back with a Data-Logger attached and was told to bring it back when it happens again. It finally happened about 6 weeks later but of course the 'Data-Logger' didn't capture anything...they said! I returned in another couple of weeks the very next time, same day it happened. Again, failed to capture the shut-down. Also had two other incidents not stalls but issues that make me think it could be computer driven problem.
#1 Radio just stops playing anything. I couldn't even change the station or media input source but could make other changes to different safety settings
#2 Key Fob was not recognized in my pocket to unlock the doors but I could unlock the doors with the remote button on the fob.
I'm beginning to lose my admiration of my new truck.

Another reason to not get the EJoke.............
Nobody needs the extra problems this may give you.
I run a small business. The recommendation is to "keep it simple".
Any benefit with this hybrid system is imaginary.:(
