2022 2500 Defrost fail

So, I’m leaving Dallas the other morning heading east on I 20. 16° outside and a winter mix starts falling. Before long, I’m leaning IMG_1132.pngIMG_1132.pngon the console looking out my front windshield because both corners of the windshield has iced over. Picture is what I would see if I sat up in my seat.
I would think this would be a big safety issue. But, as I’m saying bad things about Ram, a Ford F150 passes me with the same problem. This is the first time I’ve ever seen this happen.

Freezing rain is just coming down faster than the warm windshield can melt it off. Rare, but it happens.
