my 3 month trial is expiring soon. Does that mean my 8.4" navigation will stop working if I don't renew ?? Or am I just loosing some of the unnecessary features ??

You must be talking about your UConnect trial. If so, what you will use is the special UConnect features such as SiriusXM Satellite Radio, Siri Eyes Free commands, etc.

Your navigation system will not stop working when the UConnect trial ends.

The Uconnect trial also includes the app on your phone, and laptop that enables you to remote start, and lock and unlock your vehicle. Its something that I really never used anyway.

Exactly. I never missed 'em when I didn't renew the service on my new CTD.
