Within 3 months started getting intermittent FALSE dash messages that the right rear signal light out. The problem seems to be more prevalent after rainy days. I have removed the rear right signal light assembly and checked for corrosion on the plug without detecting any. I applied dielectric grease to both sides of the plug and reassembled with no better outcome. The signal light assembly does not offer access to the LED bulbs because they are buried behind printed circuit boards. This problem seems to be some type of electrical issue related to variations in electrical resistance. If there are any "Service Bulletins" that Chrysler has put out relative to this issue I am not aware of them. This particular problem is not new and there are several reported incidences posted on line along with several other electronic related problems. I am a Chrysler retired quality engineer and have bought Chrysler vehicles for 30+ years. As a former employee this kind of repeat problem really ****** me off because no fix has been offered.

A scanner will tell you if it is the light or the TIPM. My neighbor has a 2019 Big Horn and had intermittent right brake light inop and the tail light inop. I scanned the PIDS and determined the TIPM showed those functions were working. He ordered a new light and it has been working since!

Although my truck was consistent, it still took a moment or two for me to realize the issue was the CHMSL or 3rd brake light. The display always showed the right-side tail/brake, but that is just a display, not a pointer.

You mentioned rain and that assembly is know for leaking. Might want to
check it next.
