Thank You for the UPDATE = much needed

My 2018 Tundra knows she is no princess!!!

Test drove the Non-eTorque Hemi and loved the power and the truck.
From what i have been reading, overheating causing warped manifold and bolts braking = not interested in dealing with that

Not overheating, that is different. They just put lousy bolts in there and such. What most PPL do, if they get an exhaust issue, they just put in shortys or long tubes, problem solved.

BUT HEY, U do as yer backside dictates and makes U happy. I'll keep my Hemi till the wheels fall off. Then go get a couple cases of Gorilla Glue, glue the wheels back on and run it some more.

I do like the Coyote 5.0 in the Fords, but with the sorry tranny issues, and insane pricing, not worth it. Had a 5.0 in my work truck back when and ran that puppy constantly at 100 mph, no issues. But as all know the key to trucks is consistent and good MX and good parts, no cheapo stuff.

ADDED: OP: do what makes U happy, that is all that is important. Tundra may be OK, but whatever U do, don't get a 2024, them engines are trash and being replaced, but again, what I think means nuthin, just what works for U.

Everybody on here has been SUPER helpful and i really wanted the 2025 with the I6 Hurricane

I may have to wait a few years and then head down to the Dealer and get that Hurricane in a 1500

Anybody know what the longest Extended Warranty RAM offers???

OP, if U want the new 2025 1500, then get it. DO NOT go on any of our opinions, U gotta do wat works for U. FTR, the 2025 would work for me, as my truck is a driveway princess. But my truck is paid off, low mileage, makes no sense to trade up, than have at least a 30K note on a truck sitting getting dirty, and that does not include the Mods I would have to do. But that is just me.

Last night after speaking with @RamDiver i stayed up to 1am searching for a low mile 2021-22 non-et Hemi
Found one, that i went to purchase today, but it was a bait and switch Dealer on the price so i opted out.

My Plan was to get in a clean Hemi and in a few years graduate up to the I6 after they fixed things.

May still get the 2025 but will check the length and cost of an extended warranty first.

If U anywhere near center of state, check out Lester Glenn in Toms River. They have been decent dealership for years. Heck, my Dad bought his 65 from them way back and my kid gets his vehicles from them. Just a FYI.

I would not get extended warranty from Dealership. Research Zieglers for MaxCare warranty. They are a lot more sensible. U could always research and print and see if Dealer Match. But no 3rd party warranties some dealers like to try and sell, stick with Mopar.

When I got my extended warranty I got it from Granger Motors here on RF they beat Ziegler's by a few hundred dollars and I did not have to jump through any extra hoops or write in some extra words to get a low price, not sure if they still have the sale on EW with $25 over cost: https://www.buymoparwarranty.com/

Have heard Granger good also. I can only speak for what I have Ziegler but either will beat Dealers offer ne time from wat ppl have reported.

Just t remember the effective date of extended is the date U took possession not date done. So if U get say 8 year plan it is actually a 5 year plan from the date original 3 year warranty expires.

I know this is starting to become a trend in the forums, but I started getting my Cylinder miss fire codes before the wear in period of the engine(under 500 Miles). Its back at the dealership for the second time so far. I really like Inline engines, but this one is putting me through some grief. First misfire codes at 390 miles cylinders 3,4,5 all stored. Second round of codes cylinders 5,3 stored and cylinder 2 pending. I also received BCM U0155-00, ESM U0402-00, U145D-00 Stored. It seems to be miss firing on start and the dealership cant figure it out it seems. Anyone else running into problems? For the first week with the truck this is far too many check engine codes!
My 2025 truck in shop now for same problem 4576 miles .

Just confirms my decision to NOT BUY a 2025 to upgrade. The plastic thermostat stuff and the electronic issues, specifically the new architecture not do ne thing for me either.

New Atlantis High Electrical Architecture All new Electrical Architecture allowing for autonomy features, advanced tech and improved powertrain

Glad to see these are in demand, since that is what I have... 22 non-eTorque and no start/stop. 69k miles and no issues.
i purchased a 2022 RAM 1500 Hemi non-etorque in May 2025 with only 3k miles on it

My previous was a 2018 Tundra TRD = off road package

the RAM version of the Tundra TRD is the REBEL

If i can find a 22 REBEL with very low miles, i will sell mine just to get the Rebel

Or, can i make the upgrades and turn my RAM into a REBEL? = and at what CO$T ???

Add a small lift, rear locker, 33's and skid plates to yours and you have a rebel.

Would need to upgrade the springs/shocks as well

My 2018 Tundra was TRD with a 4.30 rear = awesome truck
