So I have a 2021 Ram 1500 Warlock with the factory 17 inch wheels. I currently am running 255/80R17 Hankook Dynapro XT RC10, but I want a bigger tire. Can i run a 35x12.5R17 on the OEM 17 rebel style wheels without any issues? Is there another large size that will work alternatively. I have done some digging around the forum but have mostly found heresay or people saying it will work, but others saying it wont.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Current setup. Patriot Blue :)

May understanding is a 34.5 inch tire is about the most you can get in the fender wells with out a lift. I have a 2024 warlock and am hopeful you get a better answer and can provide real world feedback.

My warlock has the 20 inch wheels.

So going with something like a 315/70R17 would work you reckon? I have 4 inch lift in the front, and 2 inch lift in the rear - in addition to the factory 1 inch Warlock lift. Also replaced the UCA's.

I am worried that with 35's i would need to trim, but I cant find any information about anyone running the factory 17 inch rebel style wheels with bigger tires. I love the look of the rims and dont want to change them.

Best source of information on the forum is @Quick_Shifter . Given your lift you might be able to clear a 35, but your wheels my be the limiting factor without using spacers.

It’s important to know the backspacing on the wheels. 35’s are fine the rubbing would be offset/backspace and width of tire could contact the UCA. If you’re near PA we would measure

what 4/2 kit are you running? Not all lift as advertised as well, so thats also important to know.

I run LT295/65R20's (equivalent to 35's) Michelin Defender LTX M/S tires on my stock 20x9 Warlock rims for my summer set up and it's great!

I do however have the 5100's all around and reusing my stock springs, with the fronts set to 2.1" raised.
