22 inch tires

I am wondering how the Ram handles with 22 inch tires. I currently have 20 inch and would like to know if handling characteristics are must different.

My new 2021 has 285/45/22.
It rides harder than my older ram which had 20” rims.
Just fitted my winter tyres and rims which are 265/65/18 and you can really feel the difference. A much softer ride! I am gonna keep them on now I tried them till spring.
It is the side wall I think that gives it the ride quality. Higher the wall, more forgiveness and comfort!

I have 22’s and it handles very well. I’ve been finding that truck tire choices for 22” rims are much more limited than smaller rim sizes.

I have 22" and it handles like it's on rails, but it's lowered with performance shocks too so that helps.
As said above, your tire choices are limited, but available.

my 2020 has 22 inch wheels and it rides excellent. during the wwinter they did lose some PSI and the dash warned me. They're filled with nitrogen too.

Anyway, i was putting air in them and the horn kept beeping. I thought it was the key fob in my pocket, but nope. By the third wheel it dawned on me that when the tires reached the recommended 36PSI, the horn beeped. lol

I’ve had 305/45/22’s on SRT-10’s for almost 15 years. No complaints. Handles the curves well. Almost the same diameter as the factory 275’s.
