So I was at my dealership yesterday and my salesman was telling me that the NEW body style 2500 was coming out in September-November time frame.

Any truth to it??
Any ideas what it looks like?

With as much money as they spent revamping the new RAM, I’m fairly positive it’ll look the same as the new 1500. Look for a new grill maybe, and possibly a bumper change-unless they’re holding that for a model year running change in a couple of years.

Besides, why would they make a different body for the heavy-duty trucks, when they have never had a different body for them before?

Just what I was told.
I wouldn’t mind seeing a pic or brochure though.
I’ve seen the sneak peek pics but he said it was all new.

It will be all new - compared to the current 2500/3500... so he wasn’t lying.

Yeah, the refresh is coming for the 2500 trucks but I don't think anyone outside of Ram knows when exactly and even then, I'm sure Ram's plans for Ram production of the new model are still subject to some changes.

Folks have captured some spy shots of what appears to be is a planned "minor refresh" for the 2019-2020 2500 production . Some automotive journalists say they don't expect it until 2020 as production is shifting from Saltillo Mexico to Warren Michigan and that the "minor refresh" to the existing body to hold them over until then.

Others state that they expect it in late 2019. However, the timing of the Warren Plant re-tool and logistics of moving production from Mexico to Michigan leads me to believe it will be the former rather than the latter. I don't expect to see it until late 2020.

Yeah that’s what I had read on the article. And discussed that. He said otherwise.
I’m hoping for a power wagon 6’4” bed.
Now don’t get me wrong I love my truck!!!

I work at the dealer and the hype for the 1500 has been nuts for about 3 months before one ever hit dealers. There's no mention of 2500 changes yet and such was stated in the master tech earlier this year going over this truck. As far as we know it's staying the same till probably 2020. 2500s tend to keep the old body for an extra year before revamp like they did in 02

So has anyone seen a 2020 2500 without the concept camo on it?

One of things that worries me about the 2500 production moving to Warren, right next door to the 1500 production plant,,,,"exchange of parts" Got to believe that there is economic consideration in that move. Happy to see the move, the jobs that will come with it and the assembly quality that should improve. But, would realy like to see the 2500 retain the big truck styling. Dosn't have to be exact, just make it look like the truck it is. HD

Here is some info:
https://**************/breakdown-we-look-in-depth-at-the-upcoming-2020-ram-heavy-duty/

https://**************/2020-ram-hd-rendering-and-a-bunch-of-spy-shots-reveal-new-clues/

If the rendering is anywhere close to accurate, this front end is what the 1500 should have been, not the generic looking thing they gave us.
