Hey, just joined and I searched but I couldn't find what I'm looking for. I have a '21 Warlock with the AT package. This means better tires but also 17" wheels. My opinion is that they look kinda puny. I though I could get used to it but it isn't working. I can either go with a 285, which is 2 sizes up, but it doesn't look much bigger in pictures although the measurements aren't too far off the stock 20's. I don't think the little lift on the Warlock helps any.
My question is, in your opinion, should I stick with the smaller 17's (the stock rims are nice 17x8 I think), or spend the money on an aftermarket 20" wheels and run a nice looking 20? All opinion of course.
No off roading but I do run rough lease roads sometimes. My last 3500 diesel had a Carli levelling kit and 35's but I don't want to go that big on my 1500. I'll level if I have to but I cant get anything bigger than the 285s without a level and UCAs without rub. Confused yet? Price of tires comes in to factor too I guess.
I just don't like the look of the 265/70/17s but they are 10ply.
I can include a picture but the truck has been a garage princess lately. No room for a decent pic.
I welcome all opinions and appreciate the time it takes to respond.
