Just wondering if anyone has ever put 285/75R18 M/T tires on a stock suspension '17 2500 CCLB.
I'm of the olde school when F78-14 snow tires worked great. They were about5" wide! Cut right thru the snow and that 72 Camaro never got stuck!
That said, I know the "75" part is unusual and not frequently used. I need tires and don't have the bread to get what I want so, gotta stick with the factory 18x8 rims. Do I need to lift or level for a 285/75R18 to fit without rubbing? Essentially, that size is approximately a 35" tire thats 10mm wider and an invh or so taller than the stock 275/70R18's.
Thanks in advance guys.
Ed.
