2nd gen NO WAIT TO START CHIME

Hi Ram forum

Bought a 2002 dodge 2500 and noticed there was no ding noise when wait to start light is on.

Only time when the truck dings is when the lights are on or the key is in ignition with the door open

I’m trying to find anything online on how to fix it but can find anything
My friend bought a 2nd gen and his seems to work fine with dings at WTS light

Is this something simple to fix. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My 1995 CTD only had the light, no chime for the wait to start. I bought the truck new, and that was just the way it was.

My 99 does this when it is warm, I have noticed it will be more dinging when it is in the colder temps.
