I just completed my second modification to the new 2012 Big Horn – added Ionic Nerf bars last night. They went on pretty easily; although I was surprised they bolted (mostly) to the body and not the frame. Unfortunately, it was getting dark as I finished so they still need to have the dirt washed off and wax applied.
Here’s the question. The front of the bar has a support that attaches to the body bolt. When I removed the passenger side bolt, I had a lot of water run out. This makes me nervous as water standing on metal is never a good thing. Any idea if this is normal or should I be concerned?
