Does anyone have any before and after pictures of their 2wd 1500s with a 2.5" leveling kit? I'd like to know the difference it would make.

I have a 2 inch rough country level kit on my 04 1500 2WD. Here are a few before pictures. Had a bad front sag.

Here is mine after the 2inch level (and bedlining my entire truck). Also increased the tires from the stock 265/70/17 to 285/70/17 so they are larger tires. Completely leveled out, came out to about 2.5 inches taller in front and I also got longer rough country shocks for the front as well.

That looks nice. My son has a 1500, 2005 and we want a 2'' level. I was told to get longer shocks. Shocks for a 2500. Did you replace the rear shocks too. My thinking is if I do spacers and shocks on front and then shocks on back it wont be level?

Okay, first of all - DON'T do a leveling kit!!! It will tear up your shocks and you'll never be happy.

Save money and buy a spindle set instead!!!!

Here's how we got it (265/70R17);

Here's with the Supreme Suspensions 3.5" front- and 2" rear leveling kit (265/70R17);

And here's with the 4.5" Maxtrac spindles in the front and still the same Supreme Suspensions 2" blocks in the rear (285/70R17);

It looked right, it drove right, it handled right... wouldn't want it any other way.

In fact, the first leveling kit was a 1.5" Daystar.... that's the max lift/level I would do, period.
More than 1.5" get a spindle! You won't regret it!
