Hey guys new here. I'm coming out of a 2000 1500 2x4 and just picked up my 2014 Lone Star and looking for some lift options. I notice there isn't much online I can find for the 2x4 vs tons of kits for the 4x4 (figured that would be the case when I bought it).

What is the preferred method for raising the 2013-2014 2x4s?? I'd like to run 35" tires with a 20x9 wheel but not sure of offset. From what I've read lower the better so will look for a 0 or -12 offset with Bushwacker flares.

Right now I'm reading up on the CST 4" and 7" kits but not sure what else I would need to buy to complete the lift.

Any info would be appreciated.

Theres PLENTY of threads on here about 2wd lifts.

Maxtrac offers a 4.5" and 7" lift kit
CST offers a 4" and 7", almost twice as much as Maxtrac

Or you could run a 2.5" front spacer and 3" body lift for 5.5" lift

Im running 20x9 0 offset wheels, perfect in my opinion for 12.50 wide tires

Thanks Sausec17 I hadn't come across the Maxtrac in my searches. I'll check them out.

I tried a few searches but 2wd and 2x4 in search don't come up with anything. Maybe just worded my searches wrong.

Oh man thanks so much!! Your truck looks perfect. I want your exact setup.

So I need the Maxtrac 4.5" spindles and the RC 3" body lift. Anything else I need to buy?

Here's what I have: 4.5" Maxtrac lift spindles, 1.5" top gunz customs rear spacer, and Performance Accessories 3" body lift.

Total cost ~$900 for 7.5" lift

Contact Maxtrac about their full 7" suspension kit, I haven't seen it listed anywhere with a price, just their front spindles, but it is available if you want to go that route.

I installed the body lift and rear spacer myself, the spindles were installed by the dealership only because I didn't have the time to do it. Doesn't look like it would be too hard to do though
