3.5" - 1.5" Supreme Suspension

I'm new to all this, as I bought my Ram last June. I'm curious as to what the difference in front end "damage" would be if I did just a 2.5" level in the front compared to a 3.5"-1.5" combo level. No rude comments please, just seeking advice and ideas. Thanks!

3.5" in the front is asking for problems.

2.5" spacer you might have issues with ball joints popping out.

2" spacer or bilstein 5100's would be a safer bet. i personally wouldnt run a spacer though.

This is the general consensus of the forum. And I am NOT telling you it is wrong. I'm not advising anything either. But what I can tell you is facts.

My truck has a 2.5" / .75" F/R Spacer kit from Rough Country (What a PITA to install), but the truck is fine.. It rides fine, it aligned fine, and the suspension techs had nothing bad to say about the geometry at my local shop.

My Buddies truck is running a 3" front and 1.5" rear (I think thats the rear) spacer set off ebay on his 13' ram sport. His truck rides the same as mine, acts the same as mine, and his truck aligned as well.

I'm not saying were not going to wear parts down faster then others, but both of us have been on logging roads in 4wd without breaking anything.

Now... After all that reading, My front right strut is leaking, and I will replace my front spacer kit with bilstein 5100's now that I NEED to replace the strut. That was my original plan, but I got the spacer kit so cheap I couldn't pass it up.

Why not just go with this Zone combo and call it a day....

I have bilsteins' up front set at 2.1". For precautionary reasons, I upgraded the UCA as well (a relatively cheap investment). I also have the Zone 1.5" body lift (pretty much a copy of their combo kit, but I'm using Bilsteins). I've had NO issues, it's just combining two different approachs to lifting a truck.

I looked into the combo kit, and the thing I was most scared of was the gap (I have duals with the cut out in my rear bumper) I wasn't sure if that would put a gap in it, but I'm sure the 3.5"F/1.5"R kit would do the same thing.

I have both kits for tomorrow, I'm leaning more towards the 2.5 level. It is my daily, but I literally drive 2 miles to work and we never use my truck. #grocerygetter haha.

I bought new wheels and new 33s and I was most concern to make sure I can put those on without rubbing, etc.

I ended up doing the supreme suspension kit.. it wasn't a true 3.5". The back was 1.5" and it still has a slight rake and it actually is a lot more sturdy and better built than the rough country leveling kit. So now I have a 2.5" RC leveling kit in my back seat LOL
