So I have 2013 Laremie 5.7 HEMI with 3.55 LSD. I just put on Fox shocks level kit. Vavaram intake and Hemifever tune. (Worth every penny got lot more response in acceleration and 1.5 oincrease in MPG). Even though I have 33' tires. Now I am thinkin 35' or 34' toyo open country AT2 extreme. Does anybody have issues or concerns? Is it necessary to change gear or TC to compensate?

No its not necessary, totally up to you. But if you have stock wheels and run a 35" tire you may run into rubbing issues

I like the sounds of the fox shocks! I'd love to get those for my new truck! Haha

Yes I will put 1/4" spacers. Just wanted to make sure I didn't lose too much power

You will be fine. I have 3.55 and 35" Mickey Thompsons. Though they are pretty light for a 35 at 70 lbs. I believe the AT2's are right at 80 lbs for that size. So not a big difference. I have a Hemifever and I can still burn rubber if I want to. No downshifting on hills either, still feels pretty peppy.

Wow I didn't think about the weight of the tires itself. Learning something new. What kind of tires you have and how do you like them?

Yea, weight is one of the biggest factors between 2 close to the same size tires in reference to mileage and power. I have the Mickey Thompson ATZ P3 tires in 35x12.50x20. They are quiet and smooth, but pretty expensive. If I am able to afford them next time around, they will be my choice again. lol. I have about 7k miles on them and no complaints at all.

Running the 295/65r20 (35.4" tall) trail grappler on 3.55 wasn't to bad. I had lost acceleration on take off but still had power to pass once I got going. Edit: I did have a trinity pref 91 tune on it though.

Wait a second... I'm posting from an iPhone?

Tire weight is huge ! keep that rotating mass down low as possible to retain as much power as you can. you could also look into aftermarket rims also to help reduce to the rotating mass.

i think the oem chrome clad 20x9's were roughly 34-36lbs a piece ?

oem crapyears are about 43lbs per tire ( 275/60/20 )
