I have a 3.7 and wouldn't even think about lifting...talk about no power.

Honestly mine has a lot of power took it out mudding and it had no power loss.... I have hauled tractors and it has no problems.... I think it has lower gears in it

Do you have a manual or automatic tranny in it. Is your truck 2wd or 4wd. You have a Chrysler 9.25 rearend unless someone decided to put a Dana rearend in it. The Chrysler rearend has a "Stop sign" design for a diff cover. Either way, if you plan on putting 35's or even 37's on it then I strongly suggest 4.56's. If you have a 2wd then you can get 4.88's for the Chrysler 9.25.

It has an automatic in it... and the last time i crawled under my truck the rear end and driveshaft have dana stickers with barcodes on them so im guessing the owner before me did that... i dunno if the really are danas but my truck will pull just about anything like a champ.. and it is also a 2wd

Welcome. And I also have a 3.7. But mines a 08. If anything, I'd run a leveling kit and 35s on there, mainly because we don't have a lot of power, and do you have a rc or qc?
