Hey all. I'm currently in the market for a newer truck cause my 01 is giving me problems. Found an 09 with the 3.7L V6. I do no towing at all so a V6 doesn't really bother me, just better gas mileage. Is this engine dependable? Any things I should check for if I go look at it? It currently has 125,000 miles which is what worries me.
Thanks

I wouldn't say your going to get better gas mileage.

The 3.6 in a 1500 is what you would call.. hmm... a dog. A slow dog.

Not really looking for mpg, even though I imagine it would be better than the 9 I'm getting now.
