Ok I'm gonna be ordering a 3" BL for my truck and I'm curious if anyone can post a pic of how much the frame is visible for me? No one has posted that kind if angle on here

Can't see the frame. E break line is usually the only giveaway if a body lift.

Hopefully someone has a pic. The fourth generation Rams look great with body lifts. Your buddy probably thinks it's gonna look like a stock GM 2500 from the side with twelve inches of frame visable.

My truck in my Sig has the 3" body lift on it.

I'm guessing the only part you'd see much more of would be the hitch..? That was kind of putting me off a BT bit I think I'm coming to terms with it

With the steering extender; do you guys feel the steering is wobbly or loose or is it about the same as stock? And would it break with mild off-roading?

You can fabricate your factory hitch to hide the gap and with the install of the gap guards it is pretty hard for someone to tell unless you know what to look for .

Ok so I looked on performance something.com and found a lift for ~$570 with bumper brackets and extension. Found another lift on jegs.com for ~$300. What lifts did you guys pick up? I mean if there's no difference in either then why spend more?

www.jegs.com/i/Performance+Accessories/734/PLS602/10002/-1

I thought BL only go up to 3"?

Sorry to muscle in on your thread but you're asking questions I need answers to as well lol.
With the factory dual exhaust what's the best solution to raising the tips back into position? Am I right in thinking they can be rotated to gain a little height, but there will still be a gap...right?

That Performance Accessories lift is body lift plus leveling spacers. I was confused first time I saw that as well. I've been reading on lifts for almost a year to make up my mind.

I chose to level with Bilstein 5100's and the Performance Accessories 3" body lift. From everything I've read, PA is about the best body lift out there and Bilstein's are the better way to level the front end of the truck.

Right now I only have the 5100's on at 2.8" with 1.75" rear coil spacers. My body lift just arrived at the house this morning, but I have to wait for the weather to break to install. It's too cold and I don't know anyone with a big enough garage door, lol.

I plan on taking mine to a muffler shop and having them raise it. I think I've ready about angling them upward, but I think that would just allow rain to run into the exhaust IMO.

Have to get them raised, can't rotate. Have fun trying to get the tips back to what it looked like stock before the bl. Bumper brackets are pretty much in the way

The tips shouldn't bother me so much. Now what's this talk about not being able to tow with a BL? And since I'm leveling with bilsteins does it make sense just to get the cheaper one?

You can still tow from the hitch, just not from the bumper

By the bumper? You mean the tow hooks?

Ok I'm sure I started in the OP but this is my first truck so I know squat about them but doesn't the hitch go into the receiver? So I'm kinda confused here
