Its just a one inch spring spacer? that should be pretty easy. Do you need help with getting everything off or just putting the spacer in?

Take the shock tower off 3 nuts ..
Take the rear shock bolt off from the bottom ... remove shock tower and shock .

Disconnect end links ... raise body to get slack , let the axle droop to release the spring.

Thats the easy part ^^
Getting the spring and spacer back in will require a compressor , or if you have no fear you can compress the spring with ratchet straps WITCH IS DANGEROUS

And if its a 1" spacer ... its only going to lift it 1" not 3"

And by chance if it is a 3" spacer you will need longer shocks , end links, track bar drop brackets , and possible a drop pitman arm , then a alignment

Im not familiar with the 2nd gen suspension so it sounds like Dave got it for you. If you jack the truck up high enough by the frame and let the control arm hang down low enough you can get the spacer in no problem without a compressor. I installed my 3" springs without a compressor by just putting it in an jacking up the control arm slowly until i could reconnect everything

Let us know how it goes. But Dave has it right on the head. I did mine in about an hour or 2. Took longer to try and raise the truck to release the spring than anything.

Also I would say to look at a strut compressor. My orielys loaned me one for nothin just my name and contact info. But it is simple.
