305 wide tires?

Ok I'm between getting 285/50/20 and 305/50/20 nitto 420s but not sure if I can fit 305. I have the polished 20s which are supposedly only 8" wide vs the chrome clads which are 9" wide, however has anybody with the polished 20s put on 305 tires?

You shouldn't have an issue.... But if so add a 1/4" spacer and that'll fix it.

A 305/50 will look like ass on an 8" wheel. I don't even like them on 9" wheels. It's a 12" wide tire...on an 8" wheel that's 2" of sidewall bulge and not much sidewall height.

Decided to go 275/55/20. 285 on a 8" wide wheel scared me cause of popping a bead since my truck isn't a street queen

Yours are 9" wide though I believe. The polished 4th gen 20s are only 8" wide Wish I had the chrome clads since they're 9"

oh. ****** dude...
