3500 Tailgate light bar

who has installed the 3500 tailgate light bar on their 2500. I have a 2018 Big Horn addition and was thinking about doing this. Was wondering does it bolt right on, and is the wiring at the tailgate already? Any help would be appreciated

You won't have the wiring there, but you can tap into the trailer light plug wiring, the holes are there to mount it. I put one on my 3500 srw, but I used the '19 model light which has LED's instead of incandescent bulbs. Part# 68362184AB about $42

I added the old bulb style version to my 1500 in 2017. As stated you’ll need to wire it to your trailer wiring. The mounting holes are there but you’ll need to buy the expansion nuts too.

October 2019 I swapped out my red lense rear clearance light with the 2019 HD oem led clear version. The red lense had gotten kinda faded internally.

Did you 68362184AB include both mounting screws and nylon washers?

This mod would be slick if they made a y harness for the back of the trailer plug.
