2016 RAM 2500 and currently stock suspension and stock wheels. I'm in the middle of the road of either leaving it stock suspension or doing a leveling kit. But first I must get new tires. But I want to get something that will work on stock suspension with the stock wheels for now. Near future I will be looking into custom wheels. My OE size is LT285/60R20. I'm looking into getting the LT305/55/R20 which are 33s which I know they will work on setup, but thinking 35s. Going 35s, is there a tire that will work on my current setup or will there be minor plastic modification? What size width do you recommend. I'm thinking the 12.5 may be too much with 35s. Thanks

I think if you run a 20x9 wheel with 35s you wouldn't have any issue with rubbing, but if you go up to 12 wide wheels you may have to have trimming done. I used custom offsets gallery to see what everyone was running for my 1500. But the guys with the 2500 I see a mix of 18x9 20x9 with no rubbing, 20x10 20x12 I do think you will have to trim to fit. I'm not a tire and wheel guy lol I was told 20x12 -44 with 33s will rub on a leveled ram 1500. If you run 33s you won't have to worry about trimming with 20x9 or 20x10.
