4.7 + 35's?

I have a 4.7 with the 6 sp, and 3.55. I ran 35's on my old 04 4.7, i did ok but the tires were in bad shape and i got an avarage of 9 mpg...

How would the newer 4.7 handle the tires? Im currently on 33's and like them so far. Just curious.

I ran a 6" lift and 35x12.5 Toyo MT's on my old 4.7 (2012) with the 6 speed trans and it worked fine. With the tuner, intake, and exhaust I was averaging around 15 mpg taking it easy. Not bad considering. It was a bit of a dog off the line but that's to be expected with 35's and a smaller engine.

That's what I figured, the first generation 4.7 only produced 235 hp and like 285 ft lb,

How do the engines respond to tubers, plan on getting one as soon as warranty is gone

He right it defiantly makes it a dog off the line. I average about 14 to 17 mpg depending on terrain.

Once the truck is moving don't really notice them? My big concern is mountains, I go up to them a lot, and I don't want the transmission constantly looking for a gear, my old 4.7 did that, surprised the tyranny didn't go out
