Your donor 04 engine has the wrong crank tone wheel to match up with your PCM. Your options here are either find another 02 engine, or transfer the 02's crank wheel to the 04 engine (this requires crank removal). Pretty sure you can't just plug in the 04 PCM and everything works.

The truck cranks just fine. ..just runs a little sloppy and keeps throwing injector codes which has already been replaced. ..

What happened to the original engine? Did that run good before you had to replace it? Maybe you messed up on something installing the new one? Loose connection or something? I would recheck everything you disconnected to do the swap.

The crank tone wheel will cause running issues if your original engine had a 16 tooth wheel and your new one has a 32 tooth wheel. It doesn't cause cranking issues, it causes running issues.

Ok, so you have a little troubleshooting to do. At least you have a starting point. Maybe someone can chime in, fuel system is not one of my strong point.
