I am pretty new to all this, but have been doing some research. I really like the idea of having lift coils vs spacers (nothing against spacers, just a personal thing).

I was looking at the
"CST 2013+ Ram 1500 2wd Leveling Coil Springs # CSC-D3-3 CST 2-3" Leveling Springs" you posted. I do like these.

Noticed they say to use stock length front shocks...is that right? Does anyone have these?

I prefer spacers vs coil springs honestly. Spacers allow you to keep the factory coils which were designed for our truck. These aftermarket springs may/may not be tuned to give us the exact feel of the stock coils, just my opinion.

Yes, always use stock length shocks. The more lift you add in the front via spacers or coils, the less suspension travel you will have. So choose the height wisely!!

There are a few people running the Maxtrac and CST full 7" kits, which some include springs, but I can not remember their usernames, best bet is to just hang around and search 2wd lift threads and look at people's signatures until you find someone with one of these kits.

Best of luck!

Thanks for the advice.

I called Bilstein a while back to ask them about adding longer shocks to the spacers/lift coils. The rep told me to stay away from leveling, LOL...he said if you want to do it right go with Spindles. He told me i will be replacing ball joints and what not in no time. The thing is, I see so many guys run just a leveling kit with no issues. I am wondering if there is aright way to do it...or may be the right product.
