When I saw this on being sold, thought I would let you know, but see you’re already aware.

When I’m done with the suspension on my 2015 bighorn, it will be about 2 1/2 inches higher in the front.

I was asking for recommendations on top quality extended travel CV axles. I’ve looked online but everything I’m finding has mixed reviews.

Even the American truck CV axles are supposed to rust out pretty quickly.

How did these NAPA cv axles rate?

I’m not sure, mine are stock and so far about 50k on my level/lift and haven’t had any problem yet.
I’m close to 5” in the front-3” in the rear but 1.5” of that is a body lift.
I believe @DILLIGAF tried a couple different brands before switching to a 3rd Gen axle, I understand and admire your rebuilding yours, not looking to switch axles but some of his real world reviews might help you decide on brand you get.
Without my body lift I think we would have very similar ride heights and handling.

Can confirm these NAPA extended CVs are solid. That's what I'm currently running for the past 2.5 years. I run 6 inch bds lift with front fox 2.5 shocks to level it out and 37x13.5r20. About 150k miles now total on the truck. 25k miles on the cv axels if I had to take a random guess. I replaced the old stock cvs as I was refreshing the stock suspension components since I was over 100k. Cardone HD lasted 5 months. Blew a different set in a month or so, and finally these NAPA ones have been holding strong. My next attempt was going to be mopar oem. In fairness, the Cardone HD are very nice build and solid, but the shaft thickness was rubbing, which prevented me from giving them another go.

Also, if anyone wants a set of the Cardone HD, I have a fresh set that was replaced under warranty, but never installed.
