Keep up the good work bud. Can you run a constant bead with a mig or does the metal want to start to twist some and have to do short runs and allow cool periods?

You can run a good sized bead with mig but I would recommend cool down periods cause it will warp easily I'm tig welding vs mig. Way stronger and cleaner welds

Not way stronger, but definitely cleaner. What kind of gaps you looking at? With a TIG I imagine you're going to need a root pass and fillers with a cap, where with a MIG you won't. Set up your MIG machine right and you won't have a lot of excess spatter too.

Ive Welded on tractors and both mig and tig and by far my tig welds have lasted way longer and look way better. Yes you take more time then say a mug welder but tig works for me so that's what I do
