Yeah...that's the owners job and he's been out of pocket for a little bit.

Yep been barking up that tree for a quite a while, makes the 5th gen area "polluted" with 4th gen stuff, especially people with classics. Since they were still making the classic for 2020, the 4th gen section really needs to be renamed as "2009-18 and 2019-20 classic" or something like that to make it clear. Also might be better to help new owners of classics understand they will want to be careful when ordering parts, to make sure to differenitate that they have a classic.

Can't blame the people posting, it would be like a traffic sign that was incorrect, couldn't ticket someone for following what the sign said. Really just needs to be updated, or would be nice at least.

Now all the non classic 4th gen owners I see posting over there (5th gen area), I have no idea what their deal is. I regularly see 2018 and earlier 4th gen posts there, and even some 3rd gen members posting there as well asking qeustions about their trucks. Sometimes I want to try to sign up to be a moderator just so I can move things to where they belong, maybe a little pet peeve of mine.

This forum is still awesome overall and has tons of good information and members, but since you brought the subject up this is the one thing that regularly annoys me here. Small price to pay..

I just bought a classic and I’ve noticed a lot of websites that sell parts and accessories don’t have an option for a 2019 classic so I have to put in a 2018 to find a part that fits. To be fair quite a few give the classic option or the DS denominator

Kinda surprised me too to see that... been busier than a one-legged man in an ass-kicking contest of late (recently went into management... yeah, I'm dumb), and things got hella busy. Can't complain though given the situation out there.

Anyrate, yeah, awesome to see the name change.

That's common problem. Also Amazon will say that a part won't fit our classics if the seller doesn't put 2019 classic in the description but things are getting better.

But it still annoys me when I scroll all the way down to find Ram and they don't have Ram listed, Then I have to scroll back up to Dodge. The classic thing I get because it's only been 2 model years but Ram lost the Dodge name what, 7 years ago?

Thanks for the help with this

No problem. The owner has been really backed up so I dove into the software control panel, dug around in there a bit, found the right section and made the change.

I am mostly sure I didn't ban anyone in the process but...well, we can figure that out later. :D
