4x4 question

Theres this guy who lives few houses down, we have the same trucks. so he came to see me yesterday, he says when he switches the 4x4 on, the SERV 4x4 light goes on as well, asking me if I ever had that happen before. but his 4x4 seems to be working fine,
has anyone else had to deal with this issue before?

no, I have not , but he needs to take his truck "in" adn get it looked at.

For peace of mind, if nothing else.

It may work "right", right up to the moment where it does to work, at all.
Tends to be cheaper to fix thing, while they are small.

The servo is failing, needs to be replaced (with OEM).
