My engine is currently getting bored for a 397 stroker kit, I was wanting to know if anyone has done a similar build, if so did the crankshaft contact the windage tray (built onto the oil pan gasket)? I believe stock stroke is around 3.5" and the new stroke will be right over 4". Any info is appreciated.

Josh,
Yeah it’s a normal issue to run across. I am at a 4.050 stroke on my 392. You just need to get a stroker windage tray. I got mine with my kit from CNC Motorsports, but if you need a stand alone:

Ooh yeah, I finally got my hands on the proper windage tray. Got her built and healthy. Best pass so far is 10.60 @ 132mph.
