5.7 engine swap

This is just more of a dream really but there's a yard out by my house with a totalled 2004 RCSB with a good motor and tranny its the 5.7 hemi would it be physically possible to switch my 3.7 and tranny for those with out to many complications?

Yep...wiring harness, PCM, radiator... the front springs might be different too...so might need to get a set of springs for a V8 truck.

See what he will take for the whole truck as is and just have it towed to your place and start swapping.

have the junk yard do what call a front half. you will get ever thing you need to do the swap plus spares.

yup, should be able to swap everything you need from it over.

No difference in springs, so don't worry about swapping them out. You'll need the motor mounts in addition to everything listed above.

You got the whole truck correct? If not plan on buying a Mopar Performance Cable operated TB along with some other odds and ends. If you have the whole truck your should be set. The 05 and 04 PCM are diff but once again if you have the whole thing just do a complete swap.

What's wrong with the truck? Would it be easier to swap the body onto hemi truck?
