I agree, hard for me to believe the filters were somehow defective. Is there an oil cooler on your truck?

From what the dealer said Chrysler indicated there were some problems with 2013 hemi's with the old style filter. The newer design is supposed to be used on the 14 and up, and that is what they recommend and what is on there now. The crazy thing is when a new filter is installed it doesn't leak again for a while. It seems like after a few months and a few thousand miles it starts leaking again. It is a very mild/slow leak at first where you just notice a few drops, then progressively gets larger. I noticed it leaking again a week before I took it in. In a week the after parking the truck for the night in the morning the oil spot in my driveway was about the size of a golf ball.
