$5 Footwell lights

Picked these up at wal-mart today in the boating section. They are a little on the blue side but hard to beat the $$$.

The wiring is already there on both sides. I cut the factory plug off and put some connectors on there. Took about 15 mins per side.

Thanks for that video. I installed the same lights this morning. The bulbs were $13.99 @ Canadian Tire. I managed to score the sockets at the wreckers this morning off a older Gran Cherokee. Cost me $1.23. I almost **** myself. Dealership wanted $20 each.

When do they turn off with that wiring location? Do they stay on along with the other interior lights?

That wiring is for the factory footwell lights so yes, it works off the same power as the rest of the interior lights. More expensive packages come with the lighting installed.

I used Tecniq LED dragon lights in RED for my footwell lights... got them from R&P Carriages off eBay but I believe they are on the forums as well...
