I drive about 95% city driving. I have a 2 inch lift with 35 inch tires. I'm really getting curious if my mileage is horrible for a setup like that.. I'm getting an average of about 10. I mean I expected bad mileage but not 10. lol just want some numbers from other people. thanks guys

Guessing you probably have 3.55 gears. Going from a stock 32 to a 35 is a significant reduction in effective gear ratio. 10-12 MPG is to be expected. If you want MPG improvement you need to consider re-gearing.

There are plenty of charts, available by simple web search, that illustrate your current gear and the required new gearing to get back close to stock.

Tow other things to consider. 35 inch tires are a lot heavier in terms of unsprung weight. It is also likely you have a more aggressive tread than the stock tires. Both can lead to lower MPG

I have the stock 3.92 gears. and I have mickey thompson tires that are all terrain with a very aggressive tread. plus they're about 12 inches wide.

It costs a lot of money to look cool, doesn't it?

From Indiana to Florida and back, I get a little over 19. Best complete tank was 20.67. Stock tires, 2" front lift, AirRaid CAI. 64 mph cruise set, unless in traffic. I won't hold anyone up. 3.55s, I buy good gas, either BP, or Marathon.

I drove a used Carolla for a long time. Saved me a bunch of money. A couple of years ago, I had save up enough money (not just from driving the Carolla) to upgrade to a 2013 V6 Mustang.

Oh, and that monster first gear in the 545rfe + those great big ties aren't doing you any good.

You shouldn't lose more than about 10% fuel mileage going to 35s. Stupid question, but did you compensate for your speedo/odometer being off? Going to 35s you have to realize you have a loss of power and you are naturally going to want to floor it to keep up with traffic, etc. Unless you regear, you are going to have to keep your foot out of it and have a slower acceleration than you are used to. Your accelerator foot is what is giving you bad mileage, not the tires. IMHO.

Apples to oranges but I went from 31s to 35s in my Ford Bronco and have only lost 5% in fuel mileage (from 20.5 to 19.5 mpg). Same stock 3.55 gears. Rolling resistance does not contribute THAT much in MPGs, a little but not really noticeable.

I suppose the speedometer being off also affects the mpg display on the evic?
I recently installed bigger wheels and tires also. I'm noticing the effects lol

On my stock GY tires and stock truck I get around 12 to 13 city, maybe 5 to 10 mile trips. If I am out and about in rush hour when everyone gets off work it can go down to 11 mpg. We have to many traffic lights and to much traffic by me.

On the Freeway traveling at 72 mph I can get to 20.1 mpg, with favorable conditions. At around 62 mph i have seen 21.3 mpg with favorable conditions. A light touch on the pedal keeping it in Eco mode (Fuel Saver for me) and trying to keep the MDS engaged as much as I can. My truck is a CC, 4x4 with a 3.55 rear.

With your set up it seems most lose 2 to 3 mpg

I have wider than stock 33's on my stock 17's, 3.55 rear & a 2.5" level. MDS disabled.

Around town with stop and go, I see 14 or so.
Best I have seen was over this weekend when I took a 600 km round trip (375 miles)

I think this translates to 17 mpg, drove in a thunderstorm with very strong winds.

edit: had about 300 lbs of back to university stuff in the bed, and myself & sister in the cab.

10-12MPG sounds about right for city driving. That is where the stop and go kills ya. No aerodynamics, and reduced air going into the engine.

Highway driving will get you more mpg.
Just remember it's a truck with decent size tires.
