55w HID's with Lamin-X

Got a question to you light freaks out there. Will I still have pretty good output on my heads and fogs if I use gun smoke lamin-x on my stock housings with 55w 8000k HID's?

I have the 6% Lamin-X on the headlight and fog lights with the 35Watt Kits..... Lets just say I still get flashed every once in awhile.

With 55watt you should be just fine. It is nice to have on Plug N Play HID's (No Projectors) because it cuts down some of the blinding glare from the lights.

I think I might go with them. So with that much lamin-x 55w is the way to go? I'd love to get projectors, but my wallet ain't that fat

if you go with lamin-x, I'd go 55. but the highest i would go is 6K

Yes they will blackbee.

I dind't see the part where he said he wanted 8K... I'm with JJ bud I'd stick with 5K or 6K.. But in the end it is what you want.. IMO 8k with that dark of tint, you would not like it.

6k still has the hint of blue that you are looking for but at a better light output than the 8k

I just like the tad bit of blue 8k's have and I'd probably lean more towards 6k's if I had a different color truck. I used to have 12000k's before my TIPM blew and those were as blue as I'd ever go. But 6k and 8k, that big of a difference?
