Goodday. 1st post on here.

I really like the new 5th gen tow mirrors. And I have seen/read where some folks are swapping them onto their older Rams. I have a 2014 Tradesman 3500 with manual tow mirrors. I tow a 5th wheel camper, and a 32ft gooseneck trailer every now and then, and have been contemplaitng doing the 5th gen mirror swap/upgrade onto my 4th gen. I don't mind these current OEM mirrors in flipped out tow mode but when folded in, the small mirror on the outside drives me bonkers.
Is there an aftermarket source for the new style mirrors? OEM prices are not an option for me. Looking for power/heated, with manual telescope/fold and marker light only. Basic. K.I.S.S.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I don't believe they changed the doors between 4th gen and 5th gen. I had a '17 Wagon (4th gen HD) and now have a '22 Bighorn (5th gen HD) and other than the grill/headlights/tail lights/dash, most everything else is about the same.

Won't fit. The 5th gen mirrors have a different triangle as well as different mounting locations.

Well that just popped my balloon, hopefully OP finds a solution, I like that look too

Same here.
I have never looked into the parts needed, or been close enough to a model with those from the OEM, to look it over. Bursts my bubble too, dang it. These new mirrors are way better then the flip out style. I'd love to be able to swap them onto my 4th gen! I swear I had read somewhere of someone doing the swap. Apparently my recollection is off.

Have you thought about installing GM style mirrors on your truck? I believe you can get aftermarket kits that bolt right up.

If you want to spend some money, BoostAuto has some great mirror replacements. I swapped mine out for GM style mirrors with all the bells and whistles.

Those gm mirrors are nice but too bad they aren't powerfolding. The parking lots at my work is narrow af and I parked very close to the wall on the passenger side.

I'm in the same boat, looking for tow mirrors that have all the bells and whistles AND power fold. But I don't feel good making a house payment for a pair of mostly plastic mirrors.

They are power folds. As long as your truck came with power fold already on your truck.

I do have power fold. Losing that for a reasonably priced set of mirrors would be a pain for parking lots and my garage.
